iVerify, Inc. (herein collectively “iVerify”) makes reasonable efforts to protect the privacy of your personal information. This Privacy Policy was created to demonstrate our commitment to fair information practices. This Privacy Policy covers iVerify’s use of personal information that we collect in the normal course of our business, when you use our corporate websites, applications, software, cloud services, and when you otherwise interact with us, including when you contact us for customer support.     • Communications: When you contact us, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, and the content of your communication, including any attachments.

    • Survey  Information: If you participate in surveys, we may collect your responses and any related information.

    • Usage Information: Information about how you use our Services, including actions taken, data viewed, features used, settings, and other interactions.

  • Information We Collect Automatically:

    • Device Information: We may collect information about your device, including the device type, operating system, hardware model, unique device identifiers (such as UDID, IMEI, MAC address), serial number, IP address, browser type, language settings, time zone, and mobile network information.

    • Log Information: We automatically collect log files and server logs, including information such as your IP address, browser type, referring/exit pages, clickstream data, access times, pages viewed, search queries, and timestamps.

    • Location Information: We may collect the precise or approximate location of your device if you enable location services. We may also be able to infer your location from your IP address.

    • Cookies and Similar Technologies: We use cookies, web beacons, pixels, tags, and similar technologies to collect information about your browsing behavior, preferences, and interactions with our Services. This includes information about your visits, navigation patterns, and interactions with our content and advertisements.

    • Analytics Information: We use third-party analytics tools, such as Google Analytics and Firebase to collect and analyze information about your use of our Services, including traffic data, usage trends, and demographics.

  • Information from Third Parties:

    • Use of Google Workspace API Data

  • Aggregated and Anonymized Data: We may share aggregated and anonymized data that does not identify you with third parties for various purposes, including analytics, research, and marketing.

  • Third-Party Integrations: When you choose to integrate third-party services with our Services, we may share your information with those third parties.

5. Data Collection and Data Handling for Log Data and Advanced Telemetry

When utilizing the log collection(sysdiagnose) or advanced telemetry (threat hunter) feature within our Services, we may collect additional data from your device. This data may include, but is not limited to:

  • Device logs and system configurations

  • Application lists and usage data

  • Network information, including IP addresses and connection details

  • Apple ID and telephone number

  • Other diagnostic information relevant to identifying potential security threats

Informed Consent: We are committed to obtaining your informed consent before collecting any data through the sysdiagnose and threat hunting feature.

  • Our in-app consent process will clearly and conspicuously disclose the types of data that will be collected, including, but not limited to, your Apple ID, phone number, and application list.

  • We will provide you with clear and accessible information about the purposes for which the data will be used.

  • You will have the option to review and acknowledge the consent before the data collection process begins.

  • You can withdraw your consent at any time through the application settings. Withdrawing consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

Data Protection and Anonymization:  We implement robust technical and organizational safeguards to protect the data collected through the sysdiagnose/threat hunt feature. These safeguards include:

  • Encryption of data during transmission and storage

  • Access controls to limit data access to authorized personnel only

  • Anonymization techniques, such as data masking and hashing, to reduce the risk of identifying individual users.

  • Regular security assessments to ensure the effectiveness of our safeguards.

Data Lifecycle: We are transparent about the lifecycle of the data collected through the sysdiagnose/threat hunt feature.

  • Collection: Data is collected only after you provide informed consent within the application.

  • Processing: The data is processed for the specific purpose of identifying potential security threats and improving our Services.

  • Storage: Data is stored securely for a limited period,unless a longer retention period is required by law or for ongoing security investigations. See Section 10 for more information on data retention.

  • Deletion: Data is securely deleted after the retention period, using industry-standard data sanitization methods. Customers are also able to request deletion of their data by sending an email to privacy@iverify.io

Data Usage: The data collected will be used solely for the purpose of threat detection, security analysis, and service improvement.

  • We will not use this data for advertising or marketing purposes.

  • We may share this data with trusted third-party security researchers or law enforcement agencies if required to investigate potential security threats or comply with legal obligations. Any such sharing will be done in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable and appropriate measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. These measures include:

  • Encryption: Using encryption (both in transit and at rest) to protect sensitive data, such as payment information and personal identifiers.

  • Access Controls: Implementing access controls, such as role-based access, and limiting access to your information to authorized personnel with a need-to-know.

  • Security Monitoring: Monitoring our systems for potential security breaches, intrusions, and other security events.

  • Regular Security Assessments: Conducting regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and address vulnerabilities.

  • Employee Training: Providing regular security awareness training to our employees to ensure they understand their responsibilities in protecting your information.

  • Data Minimization: Limiting the collection and storage of your information to what is necessary for the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy.

  • Data Integrity: Implementing measures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of your information.

However, no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is completely secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

  • Access: You can request a copy of the information we hold about you, including the categories of information, sources of collection, purpose of processing, and recipients of disclosure.

  • Correction: You can request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete information we have about you.

  • Deletion: You can request that we delete your information, subject to certain exceptions as permitted by law.

  • Objection: You can object to the processing of your information for certain purposes, such as direct marketing, and request that we restrict the processing of your information.

  • Data Portability: You can request to receive your information in a portable and readily usable format, subject to certain exceptions.

  • Opt-Out: You can opt out of receiving marketing communications from us, including email and other promotional messages.

  • Withdraw Consent: If we process your information based on your consent, you can withdraw your consent at any time.

  • Complaint: You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe our processing of your information violates applicable law.

11. Data Retention

12. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 18.

14. California Addendum—For Residents of California

This California Addendum applies to California residents and supplements the information provided above in the Privacy Policy. It does not apply to our employees or other personnel where the personal information we collect about those individuals relates to their current, former, or potential employment at iVerify.

Categories of Personal Information Collected and Sources

iVerify has collected the following categories of personal information about California consumers. We may collect this personal information directly from you, from third parties, and from your interactions with our Services. As defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the “CCPA”), the personal information categories are:

  • Personal information as defined in the California customer records law, such as name, contact details (address, phone number, email), and employment information, such as current employer.

  • Characteristics of protected classifications under California or federal law, such as primary language.

  • Commercial information, such as purchase history and transaction information.

  • Internet or network activity information, such as browsing history, online identifiers, search history, and interactions with our online properties or ads.

  • Geolocation data as approximate location derived from IP address.

Categories of Personal Information Collected and Sources

iVerify collects the categories of personal information described above for business and operational purposes, marketing and commercial purposes, security purposes, and legal and compliance purposes. We disclose each of these categories to our service providers, affiliates, third-party partners that provide services such as data analysis, data storage, payment processing, and customer service, trusted business partners, and public and governmental authorities, such as regulatory authorities and law enforcement.

Sensitive Personal Information

iVerify has not collected, shared, or sold any sensitive personal information, as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act. We have not engaged in such activities in the 12 months preceding the date this Privacy Policy was last updated. Without limiting the foregoing, we do not “sell” or “share” sensitive personal information.

Categories of Personal Information Utilized for Cross-Context Behavioral Advertising

We disclose the above categories of personal information to third-party advertising partners, such as in connection with our use of tracking technologies for cross-context behavioral advertising or by providing lists of email addresses for potential customers, so that we can reach you across the web with advertisements for our products and services. This may be considered “sharing” or a “sale” under the CCPA.

We do not knowingly “sell” or “share” the personal information, including the sensitive personal information, of minors under 18 years of age. You can opt out of sharing personal information for cross-context behavior advertising by emailing us at privacy@iverify.io or through cookie consent.

Individual Requests

You may, subject to applicable law, make the following requests:

  1. You may request that we disclose to you the following information:

    1. The categories of personal information we collected about you and the categories of sources from which we collected such personal information;

    2. The business or commercial purpose for collecting, “selling,” or “sharing” personal information about you;

    3. The categories of personal information about you that we “sold” or “shared” and the categories of third parties to whom we “sold” or “shared” such personal information; and

    4. The categories of personal information about you that we otherwise disclosed, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclosed such personal information.

  2. You may request to correct inaccuracies in your personal information.

  3. You may request to have your personal information deleted.

  4. You may request to receive the specific pieces of your personal information, including a copy of the personal information you provided to us in a portable format.

  5. You may opt out of the “sale” or "sharing” of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising through cookie consent.

  6. You may opt out of cross-context behavior advertising. 

We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for making an individual request. To make a request, please contact us at privacy@iverify.io. We will verify and respond to your request consistent with applicable law, taking into account the type and sensitivity of the personal information subject to the request. We may need to request additional personal information from you in order to verify your identity and protect against fraudulent requests. If you make a request to delete, we may ask you to confirm your request before we delete your personal information.

iVerify will disclose and deliver the required information free of charge within 45 days of receiving your verifiable request. The time period to provide the required information may be extended once by an additional 45 days when reasonably necessary and with prior notice.

"Do Not Track" Policy as Required by California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA)

Our Service does not respond to Do Not Track signals. However, some third party websites do keep track of your browsing activities. If you are visiting such websites, you can set your preferences in your web browser to inform websites that your do not want to be tracked. You can enable or disable DNT by visiting the preferences or settings page of your web browser.

Your California Privacy Rights (California's Shine the Light law)

Under California Civil Code Section 1798 (California's Shine the Light law), California residents with an established business relationship with us can request information once a year about sharing their Personal Data with third parties for the third parties' direct marketing purposes.
