Gary Miller

Miller brings more than two decades of threat intelligence and security research experience to his role as senior director of network intelligence where he is responsible for expanding iVerify’s visibility and capabilities at the mobile network level. He joins the company from The Citizen Lab, a renowned interdisciplinary lab based at the University of Toronto known for critical research at the intersection of information and communication technologies, human rights, and global security, including mercenary spyware and digital surveillance.

He has spent more than a decade uncovering mobile network infrastructure vulnerabilities and digital surveillance, mapping malicious telecom network threats around the world as the founder of the Mobile Intelligence Alliance nonprofit organization and Mobile Surveillance Monitor Project, a US agency-funded initiative providing threat intelligence, forensic investigations, and media publications to expose digital threats targeting mobile users.

David Gillies

Gillies joins iVerify as head of Android research bringing with him over 15 years’ experience across the private and public sectors. He began his career in law enforcement as a digital forensics analyst for Police Scotland, the second largest force in the UK, before moving to a similar role at the UK Ministry of Defence. After almost a decade, he transitioned into financial services focused on cyber intelligence first at TSB Bank and then Morgan Stanley where he spent over seven years investigating internal and external threats, eventually becoming VP of information security incident management and investigations.

At iVerify, Gillies is responsible for advancing the company’s Android research and investigation capabilities, from developing indicators of compromise for emerging Android malware to helping shape product features that keep pace with evolving threats, including advanced commercial spyware. He was also instrumental in the launch of Bugalyzer, a free community tool that transforms massive Android bug reports into clear, actionable insights in minutes, making complex mobile forensic data more accessible to technical and non-technical audiences alike.

Mateusz Krzywicki

The newest member of iVerify’s world-renowned research team, Krzywicki adds more than 15 years of experience researching vulnerabilities across web browsers, iOS, macOS, Windows and Linux. His role is focused on iOS exploits and spyware investigations and detections. Within a week of joining, he had already made his mark, helping lead an investigation into and develop indicators of compromise for Coruna, the first known cybercrime-related mass attack against iPhones that was traced back to a leaked US government exploit framework.

He began his career at ESET spending over five years analyzing and detecting malware and exploits as well as helping develop tools for the research community before eventually transitioning to a security software role at Microsoft where he focused on vulnerability response and research for its browser products. Prior to joining, Krzywicki served as a senior security researcher at Apple for nearly six years, where he focused on analyzing and developing exploits and finding vulnerabilities in Apple software. Following his tenure at Apple, he spent two years at Amazon as a senior security engineer.

Lorena Carthy-Wilmot

Carthy-Wilmot expands iVerify’s European footprint and adds both public and private sector experience to the team. She is responsible for supporting incident response investigations as well as  building trusted relationships with CISOs, security leaders, and strategic public/private sector stakeholders across key European markets to unlock commercial opportunities. As a subject matter expert in mobile security and digital forensics, she will partner closely with the US-based sales team to shape and progress opportunities into active sales cycles and identify new opportunities within Europe.

Prior to iVerify, she was a security engineer across six newsrooms at Norwegian media company Schibsted, where she developed and deployed cybersecurity strategies to protect the integrity of journalists' work, secure their communications, and safeguard the sensitive information they manage. She began her career at PwC Norway where she worked across disciplines including digital forensics, data privacy, security awareness and incident response as a member of the company’s Blue Team for cyber threat operations, before transitioning into law enforcement. As a special investigator for the Eastern Police District, Norway’s second largest police district, she worked in the Joint Intelligence and Investigation Unit focused on mobile and digital forensics, data privacy and open-source intelligence.
